Massage Services Re-Open

Massage Services Re-Open

The governor of Texas allowed us to reopen our massage services last week and this past Saturday was our first day available. Below you will find the policies and procedures we are following. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us and let us know.

Covid-19 Policies and Procedures

24 May 2020

To limit any person-to-person contact, and help keep this virus at bay:

  1. We will monitor ourselves and contractors for symptoms. This includes taking our temperatures at the slightest hint of unwellness. We will call and reschedule/cancel appointments upon a fever (>100.4oF).
  2. Please wait in your car and check-in with your therapist via cell phone (we will let you know which # or will have phone numbers on the door).
  3. You may text them or call (leave a voice mail- they may be in session with someone else). You may check-in at most 15 minutes before your appointment.
  4. Please no ‘extra’ people when possible. Exceptions are allowed and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
  5. We will be sanitizing the room and bathroom before/after each client. We are happy to share the disinfectants with anyone that is interested, upon request.
  6. At the end of each day we will be cleaning the floors and using a UV-c/Ozone lamp in each room.
  7. We will have remote payment options that you can use afterwards (or before if you choose), preferably, in the room or in your car before you leave. Options include Paypal and Venmo. We will have our ‘old’ way where we will decide whether we take your signature. We will wipe the surface afterwards if you do decide to sign.
  8. For the massage tables, we will either use a protective cover over the lamb-wool &/or table heater or will remove the lamb-wool & table heater.
  9. For new clients: Forms can be now filled out and signed electronically via Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Things we would like you to do:

  1. Wash your hands before and after your appointment.
  2. We highly encourage wearing a mask, preferably one of your own, but we will have disposable ones available in our office.
  3. We would like everyone to take their shoes off when they walk in. We recommend shoes that are easily slipped on/off and socks if you know you get cold or are concerned about contact with your bare feet.
  4. If you think you have any symptoms (fever more than 100.4, sore throat, dry cough & see other document on symptoms) please reschedule your appointment.
  5. Review the state recommendations and follow them as they pertain to you. (
